  3. OBJECTIVES of UNIT 10 • To ask for and give things; • Talk about familiar people and their occupations • Ask about routine and past events • Read and group words according to alphabetical order

  4. Read and group words with the same initial and final sounds • Discriminate minimal differences in words • Read sentences and match them to questions pertaining to occupations, events, time and dates • Arrange and write sentences to form paragraphs

  5. The topic for unit 11; • PLANTS • THINGS IN THE HOUSE • ACTIONS • SOCIAL OCCATIONS • INTERESTS • HOBBIES

  6. Objectives of unit 11 • Use polite social phrases and talk about plants and objects • Ask and talk about what one does at the moment or must do at certain places • Write related sentences from a substitution table

  7. Take dictation • Write answers to comprehension questions and do guided writing on plants and objects and one’s interests
