Rotating Phenomena Maps

  • An excellent way to review at the end of a chapter or unit.

  • Best used immediately after the pertinent information on the phenomena map has been taught.

  • Can be applied after all of the information on the map has been taught, or it can be applied following instruction in one of the sections of the map

Rotating Phenomena Maps

  • Students are paired or arranged into heterogeneous teams of four

  • Each team completes the same section of the map, and then passes their work to the next team.

  • The next team then reviews the ideas listed by the previous team, adds additional information to these previously completed sections, and then completes the next section.

  • Each team then passes the map to a new team, who then reviews the work of the previous teams, adds additional information, completes the next section of the map, and then passes it to the another team.
