CHEAT SHEET Query specific types of awards (T-32, F-32, K, ARRA) or Effort Analysis (e.g. significant change in effort, disproportionate salary, sponsor over commitment, etc) Accountability: Corrections to salary distributions or commitments Effort Analysis Report • Monitoring • Insight: The Insight Effort Reporting Module will automatically notify Payroll Mgrs, Post-Award GAs, Dept Admins, Effort Mgrs, and investigators of any potential significant changes in effort when their ECF transitions from Certification to Post-review • Central: Post-Award GAs and Effort Certification Team will monitor for any necessary corrections • Departments: Dept Admins and Effort Mgrs will monitor their exception reports • Chairs/Chiefs: Chairs/Chiefs will monitor exception reports • Institutions: Sr. VP of Research, Institutional Research Administrators, and Compliance Officers will monitor exception reports • Resolution • Central: Post-Award GAs will follow-up with PIs and their departments for resolution • Departments: Dept Admins or Effort Mgrs will initiate and follow-thru on any necessary corrections • Chairs/Chiefs: Chairs/Chiefs will aid their administrators in any necessary enforcement • Institutions: Sr. VP of Research, Institutional Research Administrators, and Compliance Officers will determine if any further action is needed in addition and in response to the escalation notices
