  1. Intimacy with God Grace Apostolic Consecration 2019 Bishop Pendleton, Pastor

  2. Giving Credit To the Source The main content of this teaching from the Prayer Clinic Manual by Bishop Clifton Jones We are highlighting 1 Chapter from his book

  3. Consecration Fasting Focus Pursue Jesus: Fall in love and be consumed by His overwhelming presence.

  4. Consecration Goals • Renew and recommit to the total surrender to the Lordship of Jesus in every part of your life. • To personally re-focus on sincerely pursuing Jesus, with the expectation that Jesus will answer and show up supernaturally in your life, family, job, and your areas of influence. • To come together as a church with one accord with the anticipation and expectation to see the glory of Jesus in our services. We are looking for Jesus to show up.

  5. Biblical Patterns That Produce Success • True repentance is required. • True sacrifice is required. You have to show Jesus that you want Him. • True praise and worship is required.

  6. Intimacy with God

  7. What Does Intimacy Mean?

  8. “Intimacy is that which is known not casually, but thoroughly and completely. Intimacy with God is not just casually knowing him.”

  9. “Whenever we are content with our spiritual quest, it is like putting up a stop sign; our progress comes to a complete arrest. We will have difficulty going beyond what we seek after.”

  10. Ephesians 1:17 - 17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:“Do you have a better relationship with Jesus today and you had one year ago? If your answer is yes, that’s progress. If your answer is I am not sure, that’s stagnation. If your answer is no that’s defeat.”

  11. What Hinders Intimacy?

  12. “It is fruitless to talk about how much we love the Lord and won’t spend time with him. Our desire to hang out with Him tells how we feel about Him. Our refusal to spend as much time in other things that He is not a part of tells us how closely we are with Him.”Revelation 2:4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.

  13. “One of our problems is that we have too many things interfering with our relationship with Christ, time consuming things, mind distracting things, mind boggling things, that we tend to enjoy above our relationship with the Lord. Until we become intimate in our relationship with Him to the point everything else is useless and secondary, I promise you that there will always be something in our way.”

  14. What Are Benefits Intimacy?

  15. “To those who Know Him in a personal way, to those who seek Him, to those who want to know Him intimately, He will share His mind with them.”Genesis 18:17-19a – 17 And the Lord said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do; 18 Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? 19 For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the Lord, …

  16. “As I was praying this evening, the Lord drop this revelation question in my spirit: “have you noticed that the people in the Bible who worked for Me, knew Me before they started working?””Acts 4:1313 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.

  17. “It is not how well we know the Lord with our head, but how well we know the Lord in our spirit. Do you know him well enough for our spirit to reject things that are anti-God? The spirit that causes God to consider a mere person is that person’s intimacy with him.”“When we do right toward God we will not be forever overlooked. The reason the Lord can not help some of us is because we don’t spend enough time with him.”

  18. “The glory of God challenged Joshua to desire intimacy with God as he had witnessed between God and Moses. When we see someone intimate with Lord, it should provoke us to want a better relationship.”Let’s continue to encourage one another to spend quality time with Jesus. Let’s pursue Jesus. Let’s be intimate with Jesus.
