Development Theme – Target Markets • Expand the SANYO incubator line.. • SANYO incubators now range from 1.7 cu.ft. now up to 30.1 cu.ft. – from cell research to cell production • Target new markets • Biotechnology • Able to fit in roller bottles, bioreactors, and other cell culture apparatus. • Pharmaceutical Production • Large volume cell culture production. • Clinical Applications • High throughput Microbiology and testing laboratories • High ticket item • Larger sales $’s(price) which translates to more commission $’s.

  3. Built from Core and Proven SANYO Technologies • The MCO-80IC includes many SANYO proven core technologies in it’s design. • I.R. CO2 Sensor • inCu saFe copper-enriched stainless steel interiors with polished mirror finish • Ducting is removable and easier to disassemble (2 pieces vs. 1 piece from competitors) • Safe Cell UV decontamination (optional) • SANYO Incubator Controller expertise • P.I.D. CO2 and Temperature Control Algorithms.

  5. Feature Overview - Usability • Large LED digital display and keypad is easy to reach • 30.1 cu.ft. (851 L) large capacity cabinet allows flexibility in usage. • Cabinet will accommodate a roller bottle apparatus(designed around Wheaton roller bottle system, 5 bottles wide by 7 bottles high.) • Requires optional mounting rampkit, MCO-80RBS • Duplex outlet inside is standard. • Full view, double paned glass door allows easy observation of cultured samples (caution in high altitudes)

Feature Overview – Superior CO2 and Temperature Control • Infrared (IR) CO2 sensor with P.I.D. microprocessor control and forced air circulation system delivers fast CO2 recovery characteristics • Exceptionally low CO2 gas consumption rates, less than half of similar competitive unit. • P.I.D. temperature control with quick recovery characteristics due to laminar air flow system.

Quick CO2 Recovery after Door Openings • SANYO’s Infrared (IR) CO2 sensor with P.I.D. microprocessor control and forced air circulation system delivers fast CO2 recovery characteristics • The SANYO unit recovers back to 5% in less than 5 minutes (remarkable in such a large chamber) • The Competitive unit never makes 5% even after over 30 minutes from the time of door opening

  8. Quick Temperature Recovery • Horizontal laminar Airflow system is employed for quick temp recovery • Perforated side plenums for air flow are constructed with inCu saFe copper-enriched stainless steel.

Feature Overview – Anti-contamination Measures • Interior, plenums and shelving constructed of SANYO’s exclusive inCu saFeTM, germicidal, copper-enriched stainless steel. • Optional Safe Cell UVTM sterilization system over the water reservoir • Extra heaters positioned on the outer glass door to eliminate condensation • SANYO factory did a great job of study of this to improve over competitors • No condensation present even on High-Humidity Mode setting

Feature Overview – Humidification and Supply • Humidity is delivered in using a seeming simple method • Simple method of using a humidity reservoir is simple to clean with no tubing or supply issues prone to contamination. • UV decontamination of the humidity reservoir is available as an option. • Different from competitors the heating element is not located in the water (which would be susceptible to scaling and corrosion) • Easy filling and drainage from front drain. • Optional sophisticated Auto-fill system is available with 4.8 gallon tank. • Nominal and High Humidity mode is selectable • Nominal is 80% RH • High Mode is 90% RH
