  7. hypothesis • The enhanced interactive visualizations preferred for the first generation RIP’s do not differ that much from the conventional 2D visualizations used in paper publications. • Adoption of RIP’s is a process (dr. R. van Horik) • People are familiar with conventional visualizations • More data will get available when using enhanced visualizations for RIP’s • More data can be visualized • Using visualization tools, sharing data becomes easier • Linking of data becomes easier (SURF)
