  3. Graduation • Seniors in good standing may purchase an Honor Cord to wear at graduation. • They will cost $4-5 each. • Pay attention to email and am announcements to hear when they arrive and can be purchased. • It will most likely be cash only and the last week for seniors.

  4. Merit Opportunities • Inductions (more later) April 28 • Navy Game-Saturday April 24 • Outside Activities Form due May 7!!!! • Food Drive for SPAN before end of school year • Shipley’s ES 5K May 16th (Sunday) • Tap with a Beat May 7 (Friday pm) • Graduation (12-15 juniors) sign up with Mrs. Hannahs after the meeeting

  5. Soles4Souls Can we let South River beat us at this? Will you be even more generous if we raise the maximum merits to 3 for donations? • Soles 4 Souls • 5 pairs = 1 merit or $5 • 10 pairs = 2 merits or $10 • Proposed: 15 pair = 3 merits or $15 • You need to vote on it…

  6. Navy Game Saturday 4/24be there at 10:30 am Must wear closed toe shoes!

  7. Ongoing opportunity • Challenger League Baseball (Parks and Rec) is in need of some students who might like to help out with the kids on the baseball team.  The times are Tuesday at 6:00 to 7:30 and Sat. 9:00 to 11:00 for 10 weeks at SPHS. • KOROFINO@aacps.org

Inductions • Plans and Directions for Inductions • Inductions start at 7 pm • Members need to be here at 6:15 if you are helping with set up • Current Members will sit in the back, middle and back of the left and right sides • Current members are expected to model exemplary assembly type behavior when in the auditorium & during the ceremony

  9. Dress for Inductions • Please wear an outfit that would be appropriate for church, a wedding, a nice restaurant… • This means NO JEANS, flip flops, bare midriff, etc. • Guys: either a tie or nice collared shirt • Girls: Nothing too short, may wear nice pants

  10. Merits at Inductions Ways to earn 1 merit • Help set up cafeteria and assist when parents come in • Help Christi with “security” and auditorium set-up • Help clean up after inductions • Assist with lining up inductees and assisting during the ceremony • Bringing refreshments as an extra half merit to any of the above (refreshments alone will not earn merits)

  11. New Members • Inductees need to be here at 6:15 and meet in lobby near Art Hallway • Inductees will line up in the art hallway and enter down the two aisles to sit in the front of the right and left sides at the beginning of the ceremony • Parents and guests will sit in the front middle
