  3. Worksheet 2.2 1a) A: Trees are cut down (Deforestation) B: Factories give out a lot of smoke C: Buildings built for housing, commercial and industrial purpose. D: Crops/ Vegetable are planted by people 1b) - By cutting down the trees, the animals lose their natural habitats and may become extinct. - The smoke emitted from the factories cause air pollution. - Construction of the buildings change the physical environment into a human one. - The original plants have been removed.

  4. Worksheet 2.2 c) We should be concerned especially if these activities affect the environment negatively. For example, the polluted air can make people ill / Loss of trees means a loss of habitats. d) A large pit has been dug and truck is dumping waste into it.
