CAN THINKING BE TAUGHT?? • Thinking is the highest mental activity present in a person. • All human achievements are simply the products of thinking. • Thinking is practical, ongoing and involuntary. • It is an operating skill that can be learned. • It is concerned with description and action.

THE IMPORTANCE OF THINKING • In order to survive and thrive in a complex world, every youngster needs to be equipped with basic thinking skills. • The changes in the world today are occurring as rapid fire-one on top of the other. So, the development of thinking skills is extremely important to prepare for a fast growing and changing world. • It shifts you from what to learn to how to learn.
