  1. Tirupati Travel Diaries- Trip from New Delhi to Tirupati If you need to travel to India, then one of the most sacred places you must visit is the “Lord Venkateswara” temple in Tirumala.

TirupatiTemple - Facts • The Venkateshwara temple is a religious landmark and is thronged by masses of people perennially. • The temple is also referred to as the “Temple of seven hills” and is spread over a massive 26.75 sq.kms of area. • Shri Venkateshwara temple is the wealthiest temple in the Indian subcontinent because of the number of donations offered every year.

Tirupati Journey • Started our journey by Kerala Express (departure from New Delhi station.) having main stoppage at Mathura, Agra, Jhansi, Bhopal, Balharshah, Ramagundam, Gudur, Ranigunta and finally reached Tirupati at 9:00 PM ,the third day. • We ordered our lunch from railrestro.com through out the journey. The South Indian cuisines, delivered by RailRestro was really tempting, fresh and hot. They solved our food concernsat every main junctions.

  4. Tirupati Puja and Darshan • We entered the queue complex at 8:30 am in morning. There was one more queue within the dormitory for the laddu tickets. • The Devasthanam during the waiting period (till the gates are open for darshan) was serving free food and milk to the waiting pilgrims. • We had darshan at 4:30 pm.

  5. Additional Attractions Sri Kalahasti Temple: Dedicated to Lord Shiva, Sri Kalahasti Temple is an hour’s drive from Tirupati and should be visited if you are planning a trip to Tirupati.
