  1. Why Miracle-Gro Works Radishes, like all plants, need nutrients to grow and flourish. Miracle-Gro provides those nutrients necessary. We wondered if adding a small amount of miracle-gro to the plant once a day would make the plant grow taller. • To test, follow these steps. • Fill two pots with soil to the same fullness. • Label one control and the other manipulated. • Plant three radish seeds in each pot, spread out. • When watering, use one cup of water. • Add two drops of miracle-gro to the water for the manipulated pot. • Measure every day how tall the plant is from the soil up. We hypothesized that adding Miracle-Gro to the radish plant would make it grow taller. Our hypothesis was not supported by our experiment, because the miracle-gro may have burnt the plants.
