  3. Where Are They Located Prokaryotes: Free forms in cytoplasm and protoplasm Eukaryotes: attached to the outer membrane of endoplasmic reticulum for use outside of cell

  4. Plant Cell Animal Cell

  5. Function Their function in a cell is in protein synthesis where they pair each codon of the messenger RNA strand with the appropriate amino acid.
