Key Elements to Our Successful Campaigns Leadership Involvement CEO participates in kick-off, ending celebration, etc. Leadership team provided with “heads-up” on key campaign dates All levels of management visible and engaged in campaign ADT, Women’s Initiative, and Young Leaders membership encouraged Employee Engagement Campaign steering committee meets and plans campaign Leadership development for committee Member of management chairs steering committee Fun events that encourage maximum participation are planned (such as relay races, executive baby pictures, finger painting) Short campaign (1 week) maintains momentum and focus Team competition

Promoting U-Way Leadership Giving Levels Campaign Kick-Off Leadership giving levels are weaved into the remarks Pledging Tool Electronic pledge card tool (Truist is the vendor) contains information on internally defined “stewardship levels” and United Way leadership levels Internal stewardship levels help provide an inclusive campaign Silver Partner = 3 days pay or $500-$1499 Gold Partner = 5 days pay or $1500 or more Double Sided Post Cards Collateral materials are used to educate Partner with building facilities group to “desk-drop” materials during the campaign Thank You Breakfast/Event Employees giving at the internal stewardship and United Way leadership levels are invited Appreciation Item Small token of appreciation (last two years were picture frames) Employees display these items with pride Serves as a year-round reminder of our partnership with the United Way
