East Rift Valley National Scenic Area (Rivers are the main characteristic.) -North Valley: There are farms, forests, and aboriginal cultural sites. -Central Valley: The main feature is rural villages. -South Valley: Divided into three main areas by rivers. (1) Chishang/ Guanshan/ Southern Cross-Island Highway. (2) Luye/ Yanping (3) Beinan

  6. Taiwan’s Attractions • National scenic places 1. Yangmingshan National Park -The area: 28400 hectare. -A lots of various plants and animals. -The renown: the wealth of unusual volcanic features and topography.

  7. Taiwan’s Attractions • National scenic places 2.Yushan National Park -The area: 105,4908 hectare. -Cover three mountains, Nantou Hsien, Chayi Hsien, Kaoshan Hsien and Hualien Hsien. -The main economical resource for local people is forests. -The area of biological reserve occupies 70520.9 ha.
