Saturation/Desaturation • What is this? • Saturation is when the colors are intensified or they are more bold than the original photo. • De-saturation is when the colors in the photo are removed and are replaced with grayscale colors. • When do I do this? • You can use saturation when you want a specific photo to stand out from the other photos. You can also use desaturation to go with a more antique look and switch it to gray scale colors. • How do I do this? • Go to colors and select Hue-Saturation and then you can change the saturation using the sliding bar for saturation.
