Major Cities in Minnesota: St. Paul The capital city is St.Paul: Is the most populous urban area in the U.S. state of Minnesota, and is composed of 182 cities and townships built around the Mississippi, Minnesota, and St. Croix rivers. The area is also nicknamed the Twin Cities for its two largest cities, Minneapolis, with the highest population, and Saint Paul, the state capital. It is a classic example of twin cities in the sense of geographical proximity.

The 2nd largest city is Minneapolis: It’s nicknamed "City of Lakes" and the "Mill City", It is the county seat of Hennepin county and isthe largest city in the state of Minnesota , and is the 48th largest state in the U.S. . Its name is attributed to the city's first schoolteacher, who combined mni, a Dakota Sioux word for water, and polis, the Greek word for city. 2nd Largest City

  5. Why is Minnesota called the bread and butter state? The Bread and Butter State:  This name came into use at the Pan-American Exposition at Buffalo NY in 1902.  The superior wheat, flour, and dairy products of Minnesota caused the state to be referred to as "The Bread and Butter State." Why?

Mars marketed the Snickers bar in 1930 and introduced the 5 cent Three Musketeers bar in 1937. The original 3 Musketeers bar contained 3 bars in one wrapper. Each with different flavor nougat.
