Objetivos • Review the subject pronouns in Spanish by grouping names of various people and things according to their matching subject pronouns • Identify and use various irregular and stem changing verbs correctly in sentences. • Identify and label Spanish-speaking countries in South America on a map. • Review the irregular verbs hacer and jugar by writing and revising a paragraph using provided sentence structures to describe the weather and popular activities during each season.

Práctica con los pronombres • In groups of 4 (2 pairs of desks – no need to move from your normal seat) you will work together to sort names of various people and things according to the subject pronoun they correspond to. • You will receive various index cards with names of various people or things • Work together to place each card in the box with the subject pronoun it corresponds to

Circle any questions that were not answered. • Feel free to take any additional notes you find helpful throughout the video.

Práctica: vocabulario, hacer y jugar • Write a paragraph in Spanish describing the weather and activities you can do during each season. • You should write at least 8 sentences (2 per season: at least 1 describing the weather and 1 describing an activity). • Consider using the verbs “jugar” and “hacer” when discussing activities you like to do in each season • You may use the following sentence structures: - Durante el/la (estación), hace (tiempo). - En el/la (estación), me gusta (verbo). - Juego el (deporte) en el/la (estación). • When you have finished writing, read over your paragraph and check to make sure that all verbs agree with the subjects in each sentence.
