Alternative Education • Black River Falls School District has three alternative education programs for students at risk. • The state defines students at risk as: pupils in grades 5 to 12 who are at risk of notgraduating from high school because they are dropouts, or are two or more of the following: • (a) One or more years behind their age group in the number of • high school credits attained. • (b) Two or more years behind their age group in basic skill levels. • (c) Habitual truants as defined in s. 118.16 (1) (a), Stats. • (d) Parents. • Adjudicated delinquents. • This report shows data relating to the two high school level programs, Phoenix and Renaissance.
