  5. COMPUTER LAB • Searching the following is prohibited: • Drugs • Alcohol • Guns • Violence/Gangs • Nudity • Your account will be disabled/parent admin meeting

  6. Follow Directions You should not wear… Clothing that is disruptive to the learning environment. Gang affiliated clothing, jewelry, or tattoos. Clothing promoting illegal activity. Dress Code

  7. Follow Directions Dress code violators… Will be expected to wear a purple T-shirt. Return it to a teacher/advisor/tracker at the end of the day. Will have to meet with a parent and administrator if you continue to violate the dress code. Dress Code

Be There…Be Ready Breakfast, snacks, and lunch are eaten on campus (Maverick, Sonic, 7-11, The Soup Kitchen are off campus) Lunch on 1st floor only Walking to your car or a friend’s car is not allowed without a teacher/advisor escort Stairwells are for emergencies only Check in and out with main office (if arrive after 8:30) Closed Campus

  9. Be There…Be Ready You may… Go directly to your next class Get a drink from the fountain Go to the restroom You may not… Go to another floor without permission or hall pass Hang out in the hallway after the second bell Between Classes

Be There…Be Ready You should… Arrive on time and ready to work with a pen or pencil Listen for directions and finish your assignments Read or complete missing work if you have time You should not… Ask to go to the restroom daily… instead, utilize class breaks Ask to get a drink or a snack During Classes

In-School Suspension (ISS) Kara Wilson Room 221 Goal to keep you at school, allow for due process Have solution for students who need a logical consequence/learning moment for an issue or behavior Work with tracker to pull grades and gather assignments specific to student in ISS Exit ticket: reflection with student /teacher/admin

Be Respectful AVOID… Using insulting language toward any particular group (age, color, disability, gender identity, national origin, pregnancy, race, religion, or sexual orientation) Bullying or harassing anyone for any reason Swearing or using other inappropriate or vulgar language Anyone and Everyone
