Improve teaching and learning Prepares students for the SAT and AP placement Provide entry into scholarship programs, including National Merit Scholarship Program (96th percentile) SAT What? Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) 3 Areas: Critical Reading, Math, Writing Skills (4 hrs) Why? Used by all 4 year universities as a requirement for admission When?
