    2. Provider Web Portal The Provider Web Portal will be available November 1, 2011. The web portal will allow provider staff to access “real time” data regarding the benefit (units), units billed, and remaining units. “Real Time” data refers to services that have already been billed to MACSIS and does not represent services provided but not yet billed. Services that have already been billed to MACSIS does not mean the provider has received payment “Remaining units” does not guarantee payment. All units have been converted to hourly units, except for services that are billed by the day. 2

    3. Provider Web Portal Current Medicaid providers have already been pre-loaded and assigned a Primary Username and initial password. The Primary Username will be the same as their ODJFS Medicaid 7 digit ID number and the initial password be – A0000xxxx; where xxxx = the last four digits of the provider’s Federal tax ID number. Dual MH/AoD providers are assigned separate Medicaid Provider Numbers Dual providers will have two primary accounts; one for AoD and one for MH It will be the responsibility of the primary user, similar as with the ODJFS provider portal, to assign additional (secondary) users. There can be up to 99 secondary users All users will be prompted to change their password after their initial login. 3

    4. Provider Web Portal The Sign In screen allows you to logon to either the ODMH and ODADAS Medicaid Provider Portal screen or the Account Information screen. 4

    5. Provider Web Portal Logging on to the ODMH and ODADAS Medicaid Provider Portal takes you to the Client Eligibility and Benefit Information screen where provider staff can view a client’s annual benefit. 5

    6. Provider staff can lookup a client’s benefit information using a primary or secondary search: The primary search requires either a client’s UCI number or their Medicaid ID. If the UCI number or Medicaid number is not available, a secondary search can be done and must include the client’s date-of-birth and social security number and either the client’s last name and/or first name. 6

    9. Provider Web Portal Misc. information: Only the primary user can add/delete a secondary user. All new Medicaid providers will be assigned a primary login and initial password by ODMH/ODADAS staff. Providers will be able to look up a client prior to conducting an intake. The provider web portal does not provide information about a client’s Medicaid eligibility. A client’s Medicaid eligibility is available through the MITS Provider Web Portal. A claim is counted by the benefit accumulator as soon as it is processed in MACSIS and assigned a claim number (held claims and denied claims are not counted). The web portal only displays information for Medicaid service limits. Non-Medicaid service limits will not be displayed. Services provided, but not billed to MACSIS, will not be counted towards a client’s benefit limit. 9

    10. Provider Web Portal Misc. information (cont’d): Medicaid consumers will be able to access their benefit information through the existing Medicaid consumer hotline. Only Medicaid claims billed through MACSIS will be counted towards a client’s annual benefit limit. Providers will not be able to run batch reports. The provider web portal user guide will be distributed to all members of the BH_Providers list and will be posted to the web. You can sign up for the BH_Providers list at: http://www.mh.state.oh.us/what-we-do/protect-and-monitor/macsis/listserv-providers.shtml 10
