INTERNATIONAL OIL DRILLING U.S. Coast Guard District Seven • Cuba has leased 36% of 59 blocks. • Repsol will begin exploration with the rig Scarabeo 9, expected to arrive December 2011. • Other oil companies to follow including PetroVietnam, Petronas (Malaysia), ONGC (India), Statoil (Norway), and others. • Bahamas is conducting seismic surveys IVO Cay Sal Bank.

  3. SITUATION UPDATE U.S. Coast Guard District Seven • Scarabeo 9 currently in Singapore, transit to Cuba approx. 70 days. • Rig will spud in beginning DEC 2011. Repsol to begin drilling end of DEC 2011 and last approx. 60 to 65 days. • Water Depth: Estimated 5,871 ft (Macondo well- 5,000 ft) • Well is named JAGUEY 1 • Location: SW corner of Block 27
