  • We start of with the parts of speech, which I am sure many of you have studied, but we pick up rather quickly, so make sure not to fall behind

  • Proper noun- a particular person, place, thing or idea.

  • Proper nouns are capitalized, common nouns are not (unless they start a sentence or are part of a title)

  • Abstract Nouns- names an idea, a feeling, a quality, or a characteristic.

  • Abstract nouns- self-confidence, strength, charm, ability, Zen
