  5. Qualifications Continued • You must be able to provide transportation to the workplace on the day of the observation. • You must submit the required field trip forms to Mrs. Fisher prior to the observation date.

  6. What Happens at the Interview? • You meet with Miss Grana, the overall coordinator, who will complete an intake form that records your preferences regarding occupations you wish to observe • You meet with 1 or 2 coordinators from area schools who will interview you for approximately 10-15 minutes regarding your education, goals, etc

  7. At the Interview • The interviewers spend 3-5 minutes giving feedback on your cover letter, application, and interview performance • You receive copies of the interviewers written evaluations

  8. After the Interview • Miss Grana will contact employers who have agreed to take students interested in your career field • Miss Grana will forward your appointment time to me and I will meet with you to verify the appointment

  11. If Transportation is an Issue • You may choose to participate in the interview and not the observation. • This will give you a chance to gain feedback on your interviewing skills. • This will enable you to participate in Job Shadowing at a later time if transportation becomes available to you.
