  3. Remember This Testing Tip Tip # 1 Don’t waste your energy being nervous! RELAX and do your best!!!!

  4. Remember This Testing Tip! Tip #2 READ ALL OF THE DIRECTIONS BEFORE YOU ANSWER THE QUESTION.

  5. Remember This Testing Tip! Tip #3 Read the whole question and All possible answers before marking your answer.

  6. EXAMPLE Directions: Read the following and choose the BEST possible answer in the area of Georgia History. Atlanta is: • Known as the Peach State • The capital of Georgia • The largest city in the nation • A state

  7. Remember This Testing Tip! Tip #4 ANSWER EVERY QUESTION! IF YOU DON’T KNOW THE ANSWER MAKE AN EDUCATED GUESS

  8. Remember This Testing Tip! Tip #5 Process of Elimination • Eliminate the answers that you KNOW are incorrect and choose from the remaining answers.

  9. Remember This Testing Tip! Tip #6 Concentrate! Do not allow yourself to be distracted by noises or movements around you.

  10. Remember This Testing Tip! Tip #7 While taking the test, you should match the number on the Answer Document to the item in the test booklet.

  11. Remember This Testing Tip! Tip # 8 Be sure to fill in the circle on you Answer Sheet. Neatly and Completely.

  12. Remember This Testing Tip! Tip # 9 Know how much time you have to complete each section. Pace yourself so that you finish each test.

  13. Remember This Testing Tip! Tip #10 Use ALL of the time you are given. If you have 60 minutes to finish a test, use ALL 60 minutes.

  14. Students Should Be ComfortableTest Tip # 11 • Students should dress appropriately. Clothing should be worn in layers. • Students should bring an extra jacket or sweater in case they become cool.

  15. Remember This Testing Tip! Tip # 12 GO TO BED AT A REASONABLE TIME EACH NIGHT BEFORE TESTING

  16. Remember This Testing Tip! Tip #13 Eat a good breakfast. Skipping breakfast is not ideal; neither is overeating.
