  1. FEUDALISM & MANORS BY: Karsyn Weathers Jesse Wayment Aubree Essex & Dylan Baur.

  2. Feudalism: • Feudalism of feudal system is the political, military, and social system in the Middle Ages, based on the holding of lands in fief or fee and on the resulting relations between lord and vassal. • So its basically the means of economy and social balance, or imbalance.

  3. Knights! • The knight was one of three types of fighting men during the middle ages • He was covered in multiple layers of armor, and could plow through foot soldiers standing in his way. No single foot soldier or archer could stand up to any one knight. • Knights were also generally the wealthiest of the three types of soldiers • It was terribly expensive to be a knight. The war horse alone could cost the equivalent of a small airplane. • In the late middle ages, many prospective knights began to pay "shield money" to their lord so that they wouldn't have to serve in the king's army. http://library.thinkquest.org/10949/fief/medknight.html

  4. Chivalry • Chivalry: is the generic term for the knightly system, meaning a warrior who fought on horseback. The term came to mean so much more during medieval times.

  5. Eleanor Of Aquitaine. • Was one of the best woman in all Europe. • At 15 married Louis VII • At 19 knelt in the cathedral of Vezalay before the the celebrated Abbe Bernard.
