Grading and Make-Up Work • Level late work policy: Students who fail to complete a daily assignment can complete the assignment prior to the end of the current Unit of study, but the highest grade possible is a 50. • 2. Any major assignment turned in late will automatically lose 15 points. Each day after that will lose 10 points. • 3. Weekends count. For example, if an assignment is due on Friday and the • student turns it in on Monday, they will lose a total of 35 points. • 4. Students who have an excused absence will get an equal amount of days to • make up work. It is their responsibility to get the makeup work and complete it • on time. Retest Policy Complete and submit any missed assignments for the retest unit prior to the reassessment date Attend 60 minutes of tutorials with any Geography teacher or designated CP peer tutor Complete and submit any assigned unit study guide/review prior to the reassessment date Retake the test within 2 weeks following the posted grade Complete Part A of the reassessment form and submit to your teacher within 1 week of the posted grade Only 1 retake per 9 weeks is allowed

Parent Access Link for Grades: • http://www.conroeisd.net/student-parent/pac.asp • Z – Assignment needs to be completed and currently is counted as a zero • X – Assignment does not need to be completed and will not count towards the GPA • (Dash) Means that the assignment has not been graded yet • Major grades count for 60% (exams, projects, notebook checks) • Daily grades count for 40% (class work, home work, quizzes) • Interactive Notebooks • Major Grade every 9 weeks. • Several Daily Grades will be pulled from the notebook.
