  3. Namaste Nepal is landlocked country located between China and India. Northern part of country is covered by High Himalayan rages, which consist hundreds of mountains including Mt. Everest the tallest mountain in the world. Highest point : 8848meter Lowest point : 70 meter Length : 885km Width : 241km Area- 147,181 sq. km (885km -241km) Population - 30 Million Capital – Kathmandu 59 Ethnic Groups, 71 Languages

  5. NEPAL : Geographical structure • Terai Region (Flat land) : The Terai Region rises about 700 meters (2,297 ft) with peaks as high as 1,000 meters (3,281 ft) from sea level. The area is rich with huge forest and wildlife. • Hill Region : The Hill Region (Pahar in Nepali) is mostly between 700 and 4,000 meters (2,297 and 13,123 ft) from sea level. This region begins at the Mahabharata Range expended between Terai in the south and Mountain ranges in the north. This is also home of diverse and colorful Nepali culture of the mountain people. • Mountain Region : The Mountain region or Himalayan region is from about 3,000 meters (10,000 ft) toward north bordering with Tibetan plateau. The snowline at 5,000 to 5,500 meters (16,404 to 18,045 ft) to some 90 peaks over 7,000 meters (22,966 ft) and eight exceeding 8,000 meters (26,247 ft) including Mount Everest.
