  2. HPMP Implementation and Alternatives Technologies • Most developing countries are initiating the HPMP implementation; • Alternative technologies in both foam and refrigeration/air conditioning sector are widely available in most cases, but there are some concerns on higher GWP, flammability, energy efficiency, cost, and other potential environmental impact.

  3. UNEP CAP and Alternatives • UNEP is promoting the Ozone2Climate alternatives technologies, while taking neutral position to any specific alternative technology; • UNEP CAP is organizing roundtable as well as roadshow to provide a forum for the discussion of alternative development, webinar is part of these effort.

  4. This Webinar • UNEP CAP recently organized such a forum during the joint network meeting of Ozone Officers of South Asia (SA) and Southeast Asia and the Pacific (SEAP), 15-18 May 2012. The forum was very well appreciated. • Two of the resource persons invited to the forum have kindly agreed to share their presentation today to the global audience through this webinar.
