Project Highlights • Project Approved 4/28/2008 • Targeted Completion 12/30/2008 • Enhancements to support Limited Liability Limited Partnerships domestic and foreign. • Mandated by the Revised Uniform Limited Partnership Act of 2007. • Functionality required is being defined by the Director, SOS Operations.

Project Highlights • SOS Operations is reviewing pursuing enhancements with FileONE, Inc. or looking at the market for products to purchase. • Intranet application for internal SOS Operations. • Security will be traditional sign id and password plus network protection via switches and routers.

  4. Project Highlights • No unusual bandwidth requirements. • Hosted within the Office of the Secretary of State at 325 Don Gaspar. • Disaster Recovery – Copy data base every evening and ship files off site. • Direction given to the Secretary of State to move away from FileONE monopoly of applications. FileONE, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of ES & S.

  5. Project Highlights • Strategy is to move away from all SOSKB modules into new functionality either built internally or purchase individually from other vendors in the market place.
