  1. Welcome Key Clubbers! Come on in and take a seat! Club Meeting: March 5th

  2. Pledge I pledge, on my honor, to uphold the Objects of Key Club International; to build my home, school and community; to serve my nation and God; and combat all forces which tend to undermine these institutions.

  3. GIVE WATER… JUST GET OFF YOUR PHONE! There are 768 million people around the world who don’t have access to clean water and you can help… RIGHT NOW! • EVERYONE: Go to www.tap.unicefusa.org • Follow the simple instructions and leave your phone alone for the rest of the meeting. • For every 10 minutes you leave your phone alone, you can provide a day of clean water for someone in need!

  4. ORANGE LEAF THIS THURSDAY! Come to another one of our awesome Orange Leaf socials THIS THURSDAY THE 6TH!

  5. BUFFALO WILD WINGS SOCIAL Before Spring Break, we will be holding our first social at Buffalo Wild Wings to fundraise for DCON! Check your email for exact date and times coming up in the next few days!

  6. ARE YOU READY FOR DCON? Even if you aren’t attending DCON, there are some awesome ways to get involved through CONTESTS! • Poster (Digital and Non-Digital): Create a poster (18x24 in. max) that promotes Key Club (in general)and recruits new members -Digital means using electronic means such as computer software, cameras, etc. -Non-Digital means crafts, using papers, stickers, etc. • Theme: Help recreate Captain Hook’s Pirate Ship! • Must be made out of raw materials (i.e. no additional set pieces). • The entire entry cannot exceed 24 inches in height, 24 inches in length (i.e. bow to stern), and 12 inches in width (i.e. port to starboard). Any attachments to the entry, such as flags, masts, etc. will be included in the calculation of entry size. WINNERS OF EACH WILL RECEIVE $25 GIFT CARD OF YOUR CHOOSING! EMAIL US ASAP IF YOU’RE INTERESTED!

  7. WRITE ARTICLES FOR HOURS We are always accepting articles for service hours! Write about ANYTHING Key Club related (favorite event, social, etc.) and email your submissions to Mrs. Hydes! For every article, you get 2 physical hours! (Can submit up to two each semester)

  8. SCRAPBOOK COMMITTEE Are you crafty? Are you creative? Why don’t you join our Scrapbook Committee?! Every year at DCON, we submit a scrapbook with pictures and memorabilia of everything our club has accomplished this year. It’s that time a year to start to put it together! Meetings are being held every Thursday, so make sure to contact us ASAP if you’re interested! Email us at: cyranchkey@gmail.com

  10. Save the puppies! Lucky Mutt Rescue Cypress is asking for our help in raising money for their rescued animals! *TODAY’S THE LAST DAY!* Bring in $5 Walmart and PetSmartgiftcards (Every $5 = one donation hour)

  12. BAKE SALE TODAY! In order to raise money for DCON funds, we will be selling baked goods after our afternoon meeting! Make sure to stop by for some sweet treats and to help out your club! EVERYTHING IS $1!!!

  13. Sign Up Genius! Always be checking Sign Up Genius for events to volunteer for! We’ve got lots of ways to earn ours and some big events coming up so keep yourself updated! Plenty of new opportunities have been added this week, so check it out! We also have Salyards US History Tutoring sports to fill! WE HAVE SO MANY EVENTS! Use jennifer.hydes@cfisd.net to look for events! Make an account and remember to always be checking your email! We add new events every week! Get those hours over with early!
