  4. Glogster Go to www.glogster.com/edu

  5. Glogster • Complete the registration fields Nickname = screen name/login Check student accounts area to create student accounts under your name. You can create a maximum of 200.

  6. Glogster • Success looks like this: • When you receive the e-mail, click the “confirm your account by clicking here” link. Do not delete this e-mail. You will need the student nicknames and passwords for your students to create their glogs.

  7. CREATE a GLOGWhen you open a new glog, you will see an example Give your glog a name

  8. Glogster • You will have the following tools to play with:

  9. Glogster – Wall paper Begin by choosing a “wall” or background for your Glog Stick with Glog wall. If you use page wall, the design can be tiled or used as a background behind the Glog wall. You can change the background at any time.

  10. Glogster - Graphics Have a look at your options!

  11. Glogster - Images Use the “image” button to upload photos, pictures, sound files or video files

  12. Glogster - Text Play around! There are a lot of options.

  13. Glogster - Text Bring it forward Put it behind Cancel changes Clone Trash Once you select your text option, close the window Now, click on the word EDIT You are now ready to type your message

  14. Glogster- Text Add link Change the graphics color Enter text/font/color Effects Click edit to type your text

  15. Glogster - Video Upload button to grab videos stored on your computer. Use the link tool to get a video on the internet (You Tube). Use the grab button to use your mic and webcam to get audio and video files

  16. Glogster – Get rid of it! Select the part of your glog you want to remove Click on the red trashcan

  17. Glogster - Sounds • Use the same methods to put music or narration on your glog

  18. Glogster – Finishing up! Preview allows you to preview and test media Select “save and publish” and pick Classic Glog

  19. Tag it with your last name and select “private” if you don’t want it to show up in a search.
