Pareto optimal

Pareto Optimal

  • We use a model based on the theory of “Pareto-Optimal”. Pareto Optimal theory that suggests there is an optimal allocation of resources in which it is impossible to make any one individual better off without making another individual worse off.

  • Adapting this for fleet use I would say that there is an optimal fleet size. Changing that fleet size results in either higher out-sourcing costs or higher fleet costs.
