  3. Bilateral agreements between Academy of Finland and public research funding organisations of China In October 2004 the AF renewed co-operation agreements with: • National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) • Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) • Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS)

CO-REACH: Coordination of Research Between EU and China • network of European S&T policy and funding organisations involved in promoting research co-operation with China in the • natural sciences • medical and life sciences • engineering sciences • social sciences and humanities • intended to create coherence and synergy in Europe's S&T relations with China • supported by the European Commission as an ERA-NET Co-ordination Action
