  3. Program focuses on: • Alcohol and Youth • Alcohol and Traffic Accidence • Alcohol and Domestic Violence • Alcohol and Family Income

Activities Implemented By PDP-Center • Stakeholders meeting (share information about alcohol related harms and develop advocacy strategy). • Roundtable discussion that focuses on awareness to young people and in place advocacy forum. • Community talk that encourages people to talk about alcohol problem and find strategy to tackle the issues. • Provincial workshop and national workshops that engages relevant institutions for talking and consider about the Policy.

  5. Activities implemented by the Communities • Alcohol Campaign that engages media to print about the harmfulness of alcohol consumption in the community and make the policy makers to be heard. • Radio program that invited the people in the community who experienced in alcohol harms to share. • Communities initiatives– the community initiates the projects to prevent and ban alcohol by themselves.

  6. Assist Network Establishment • Assist community people in organizational development– bylaw, policies, structures…etc. • Give seed fund to them • Build capacity on advocacy strategy and fund raising. • Look into sustainability (contribution from members).

  7. Local Advocacy • Intervene to have a notification from commune council authority to prevent and ban alcohol consumption. - Attend meeting with commune council members. - Send petitions to commune council members. - Increase the talk about alcohol in the community
