  2. WHY THE FORESTS? WHY THE FORESTS? WHO IS IT AFFECTING, AND HOW? There are two main rainforests, tropical, and temperate. Loggers are mainly cutting down trees to market the lumber, and clear the space. Also, they are cutting down the trees for the fruit, cereal, and so much more. In addition, they are doing it for both lumber , and wood for making fire. Agriculture for both small and large farms for poor farmers that don’t have anywhere else to go. Grazing for cattle: and road destruction. I think they have plenty of space now because 1.5-2.0 acres of forest is cut down every second! The size cut down in a day is equivalent to the size of New Jersey. Every year about 3 billion trees are cut down every year. I don’t see why they need to cut down any more trees down. This is also bad because the rainforest is critical for maintaining the Earth’s supply of drinking, and fresh water. We are losing about 137 plants, animals, and insect species due to the destruction. The rainforest used to cover 14% of the Earth’s surface, now it only covers 6%, and is going down every second. 3. WHY THE FORESTS? WHO IS IT AFFECTING AND HOW? WHO IS IT AFFECTING, AND HOW? Due to the incident it is affecting many animals, plants, and even people. Animals need the trees for shelter/home. Plants need the trees for protection of rain. Too much rain can kill a plant. The right amount of water gets through the trees and reaches the plants. People need the rainforest to have a place to visit, without a rainforest they won’t be able to visit. Second of all, the people need the trees to breathe, (oxygen,) without oxygen people will die. Every day at least 50 animals homes are demolished , maybe more. Animals loose their home, and the loggers don’t even care, then they struggle to find a new home. Animals suffer from starvation and loggers don’t even care, personally I think it should be stopped immediately. Where is Barak Obama on this, it is like he doesn’t care. A typical 4 square mile path contains as many as 1,500 flower plants, 400 species of birds, 450 species of trees, and 150 species of butterflies. It is getting cut down now. This situation is reminding me of the movie The Lorax. THE LOGGERS ARE GETTING PAID, BUT ARE THEY HAPPY ABOUT THE DAMAGE? HOW TO SAVE THE RAINFORESTS HOW TO LEARN MORE AND REPLY TO THIS ARTICLE

  4. WHY THE FORESTS? THE LOGGERS ARE GETTING PAID, BUT ARE THEY HAPPY ABOUT THE DAMAGE? WHO IS IT AFFECTING, AND HOW? Yes, and No. Some of the loggers are glad about the destruction and don’t even care. The good loggers aren’t happy, you might wonder, “why don’t the good loggers quit?” Well, they signed up not knowing how much damage they are going to do. They are forced by the boss to cut down trees. Still I don’t see why they sign up anyway. I think the boss has a mess up mind. Even on Valentines Day where you are supposed to love, or any holiday they still demolish the rainforest. They don’t realize the damage the way the people do. I mean, 1.5-2.0 acres of land cut down each day, how can they think that job is fun? What are they doing, are they brainwashed or something? 5. WHY THE FORESTS? HOW TO SAVE THE RAINFORESTS WHO IS IT AFFECTING, AND HOW? One way you can stop this destruction is recycling anything you can: newspapers, glass bottles, jars, aluminum foil, and more. Don’t leave the water running when you are not using it, use cold water in the shower when ever possible. Burn only seasoned wood in your woodstove, or fireplace…and don’t light them as often. Also, you can buy a chunk of land from the rainforest and it is all your responsibility. You can kill the rainforest and have it be cut down, or you can be a nice person and save it from being cut down. Your choice! If I bought a chunk of the rainforest I would be good, and save it. Loggers will have to pay a fortune of money just to destroy it. But, the more you want to save, the more it costs. All of the wilderness in depending on you to buy the rainforest. But don’t buy so much that you don’t have any more money left. The longer you wait, the less animals there are to save, and the more it will be demolished. So hurry up and buy. Quote from www.savetherainforest.org, “If you are thinking 1 Year ahead, sow seeds. If you are thinking 10 years ahead, plant a tree. If you are thinking 100 years ahead, educate the people.” THE LOGGERS ARE GETTING PAID, BUT ARE THEY HAPPY ABOUT THE DAMAGE? HOW TO SAVE THE RAINFORESTS HOW TO LEARN MORE AND REPLY TO THIS ARTICLE
