  2. SPR/SCR processing • Two types of problems: • It does not work as promised SPR – Software Problem Report • I want something new  SCR – Software Change Request • All registered and tracked using SPR/SCR system (ESA built) • CCB monitors progress and decides on disposition • Views whole chain; submission  implementation  test and verification • Weighs development cost v.s. operational impact • Also takes knock-on effects into consideration • Several different categories of SPR/SCRs treated by 2 CCBs • ICC CCB – roughly monthly • ICC development environment, ICC specific tasks (e.g. AOT logic when relevant), general data processing (IA, QLA, pipeline etc. etc.), calibration, documentation • HIFI CCB-MRB – (bi-)weekly • OBSW, MIB, CUS scripts (mainly ILT), EGSE environment issues SPR/SCR status - PRR

  3. Status • Continuous ongoing process • since 13/10/2003: 673 SxR’s closed, 23 rejected, 74 withdrawn or archived. • High priority problems generally solved very fast • Open mostly not serious • ‘hard to reproduce’ • ‘just’ irritating • To be verified  waiting for data • requires hardware • dedicated data taking and verification gets low priority SPR/SCR status - PRR
