Dennis test case

Dennis – Test Case.

  • Nearly 15, at end of S3.

  • Dramatic deterioration in Dennis since S2.

  • Never managed a complete week in school.

  • Low level persistent misbehaviour.

  • Late-coming, fights, arguments.

  • Failed to return home.

  • Supportive parents, separated 18 months ago.

  • Guidance teacher decides to call a level one meeting.

  • In our multi-agency “test case” discussion at Morgan, we envisaged that the school would already have taken steps to address some of the issues.

In Morgan Academy, we already convene Level 1 meetings frequently – not knowing that they were called this.

These are integral to our existing practice. On average, each guidance

teacher can have 5 or more TATC

meetings per week.
