Let’s learn a little about STRONG ADJECTIVES. NORMAL ADJECTIVES. Some adjectives are normal (or base) adjectives. good , bad , dirty , pretty , cold , hot etc. STRONG ADJECTIVES. Other adjectives are strong (or extreme ) adjectives. fantastic , awful , filthy , gorgeous etc.

  2. NORMAL ADJECTIVES Some adjectives are normal (or base) adjectives. good, bad, dirty, pretty, cold, hotetc

  3. STRONG ADJECTIVES Other adjectives are strong (or extreme)adjectives. fantastic, awful, filthy, gorgeousetc.

  4. STRONG ADJECTIVES very – really – absolutely + adjective We can only use "absolutely" with a strong adjective e.g. "absolutely fantastic." We can only use "very" with a base adjective e.g. "very good." "Very fantastic" or "absolutely good" are wrong. However we can use "really" with both base or strong adjectives.

  5. STRONG ADJECTIVES Here are some strong adjective examples for you: This man is more than angry ….. he is furious. FURIOUS
