Introduction – Duo/Duetto • Requirements • Requirements • LiveCast user account • Internet connectivity • Duo: MS Windows Vista, XP, 7 / Duetto: Android OS (2.2+) • Overview • Duo/Duetto are LiveCast’s 2-way, ultra low latency streaming applications for the PC and phones. • LiveCast Duo/Duetto’s high quality streaming and real-time monitoring of incoming audio and video streams make them an ideal solution for mobile journalism or portable 2-way video-conferencing for first responders and enterprise.

  6. LiveCast Duo Live Status Live or offline stream status displayed. Useful to determine when video is actually live, or when it’s offline and the last frame of previous video is displayed. Outgoing Live Stream Send Video window displays outgoing live stream from the user. Incoming Live Stream Return Video window displays live stream selected from Stream Selector list. Live Chat Back channel live messaging. User can view and respond to messages sent from LiveCast enterprise apps. Useful in noisy situations or when silence required. Share Send link to authorized personnel to view live stream or archived video. Snapshot Allows frame grabs during streaming. Contains file and time code reference. Allows user to quickly find key points in video for field editing. View Options View the Return Video full screen or on a second monitor. Press ESC to return to standard view. Stream Selector A pre-authorized list of incoming streams available to the user to view.

  7. LiveCast Duetto • Display options: • Tapping your outgoing video window will switch your feed to the alternative window (e.g. large to small, or small to large). Tap again on the new window to return feed. • Tapping on the incoming video window will display a pull-down list of available user accounts to select from for viewing. • Tap and drag the small video window to any location you’d like on the display (e.g. upper right, lower left, middle).

Key Features – Duo/Duetto • Key Features • Average .5 second latency from device to screen, regardless of the source bit rate, codec, or resolution • Concurrent streaming to other LiveCast enterprise applications and online properties • Full duplex live chat messaging between headquarters and remote teams • Auto-selection of incoming streams and ability to reserve preview for specific user accounts • Accurate real-time display of streaming statistics: GPS status, audio levels, frames per second, transmitting bit rate, length of transmission • Auto-archiving and auto-posting of video online • Support of Windows Media, QuickTime, Flash and H.264 players • Share feature automates notifications with links to live streams • Supports live viewing from phones and computers • Supports bit rates up to 5 Mbps

Authorized field personnel can view and respond to messages. “On Air” Feed The preview feed with green border is sent to master stream. Switch feeds by clicking on preview video window. Real-Time Diagnostics Dynamic display of connectivity, bit rate, frame rate, time to server, GPS status, and AV status. Secure Login Login and access rights management determine which feeds are available for viewing. Share Send notification message with links to authorized personnel, so they can view the live or on-demand video.

Pull-down selector makes it easy to switch between streams. • Low Latency Monitoring: The entire organization can view events as they happen with less than ½ second latency. • Output: View in mini window, full screen or send to a secondary monitor. • Supports All Data Networks: Use wherever IP data networks can be accessed (e.g. 3G, 4G). • Security: Meets security requirements using encrypted data transmission (e.g. FIPS, HIPPA). • Full access rights management controlled by administrator.
