  2. Changes to the construction survey (ii) • Complete BQs as of 2009 survey • Annual updated of at least one BQ • A standard classification of chapters for all BQs: Construction PPPs

  3. Changes to the construction survey (iii) • Spreading the pricing burden over two years: • Year 1: - Detached house - Factory building - Bridge • Year 2: - Portuguese or Nordic house - Apartment - Office building - Asphalt road Construction PPPs

Changes to the construction survey (iv) • Estimation in non-survey years by “key” items • Prices to be delivered only for selected “key” items for each chapter within the BQ • Grossed-up to chapter totals by factors based on previously priced full BQs • Summed to full BQ prices • Improve BQ descriptions by gradual inclusion of functional specifications, starting with update of Detached house Construction PPPs
