  2. What is Apicoectomy? • A infection that can sometimes accrue after a root canal. It causes the tooth to not heal properly or sometimes re-infect itself.

  3. What will happen if you don’t treat Apicoectomy? • Its very painful and can cause other infections in your mouth. “The main risk is that the surgery may not work and the tooth may need to be extracted.” Said Mark Bornfeld DDS fromBrooklyn, NY The green part is the infected root. Ewwwwww!!!!!!

  4. How does this relate to my career? • I will help the dentist with tools and help keep the mouth clear so he can see what he is doing. Yayyyy!! 
