Southern California Association of Non-Profit Housing (SCANPH)presents Construction Risk Management for Project and Asset Managers Wednesday, April 2, 2008 11:00 am – 2:00 pm Construction Risk Management: What you need to know before you sign the contract? We will discuss construction risk from the insurance and risk management perspectives, show you how to review the equity investor’s insurance requirements, as well as the insurance and indemnification specifications within the prime contractor agreement.  We will review the basic components of construction insurance, such as the general liability policy and the builder’s risk policy.  We will also briefly discuss an owner controlled insurance program (OCIP), also known as a “Wrap.”  First American Title Insurance Company (FATCOLA) 520 North Central Avenue, 2nd Floor Glendale, CA 91203 Special thanks to the First American Title Insurance Company for their generous support.
