  4. What is considered unhealthy? • Control – needing to know where you are at all times. • Lack of trust – forbidding you to have friends of the opposite sex. • Put downs • Being together 24-7/social isolation • Lying

Unhealthy Relationships • Obsessions • Instant attraction, unrealistic expectations • Fear of abandonment • Always thinking the other person is cheating • Need to be with the other person constantly • Showing up at their house, work, etc • Calling and/or texting non stop • Feeling as if they can’t live without the other person

Unhealthy RelationshipsWhat to do if yours is? • Communicate your needs and expectations clearly with your partner • Set boundaries • Look for ways change within the other person and yourself • Determine if the good outweighs the bad • Both of you need to be in agreement to make change and move forward
