Bureau Report Bureau Accomplishments at the 12th Forum • Met with delegations and technical experts to understand issues and recommendations for strategy and Programme of Work • Worked with the FMG and Secretariat on the Programme of Work for 2010 – 2011 • Established objectives for UN/CEFACT 14th Plenary (September 16-17, 2008) • Identified organizations adopting UN/CEFACT standards to present at the 14th Plenary 12th UN/CEFACT Forum - Mexico City

Bureau Report Bureau Accomplishments at the 12th Forum (continued) • Reviewed and updated the Code of Conduct to incorporate recommendations from IPR Task Team Report • Constructive meetings with representatives of Mexican government, trade and industry • Discussed input to the UN/ECE Executive Committee and the Committee on Trade • Discussed opportunities for improved support by the Secretariat for UN/CEFACT 12th UN/CEFACT Forum - Mexico City

Bureau Report electronic Business, Government and Trade (eBGT) initiative • an 18-month initiative to facilitate achieving priority deliverables • to support the FMG/Bureau/Plenary and stakeholders • clarifying priorities • identifying gaps • improving outreach • eBGT Team completed planning for launch in June 2008 • more information to follow 12th UN/CEFACT Forum - Mexico City

FMG Report Achievements of the week • UN/CEFACT Project management • Projects reviewed & prioritised for delivery in 2008 & end user “Champions” identified • Projects reviewed over time - Unrealistic projects will be discontinued • Confluence enterprise wiki tool will be available for pilot project by June 2008 - eventually will be used for tracking all UN/CEFACT Projects • UN/CEFACT Procedures: • Forum Procedures Team (FPT) reported • Code of Conduct & Conflict of Interest reviewed with Bureau • Forum Election Procedures Revised for Sengal elections 12th UN/CEFACT Forum - Mexico City
