  3. 32 Yie yiem ndau zuqc mienh liepc faaux hlang wuov zanc, yie oix yuoqc dauh dauh mienh daaih lorz yie.” 32 But I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to myself."

  4. Biux Mengh Waac Introduction 1. Mv maaih haaix dauh hnangv mbuo nyei Ziouv Yesu Giduc, haih tengx taux mbuo nyei lungh ndiev. No individual has had a more profound affect on society than our Lord, Jesus Christ. 2. Ei ninh funx daaih, naaiv norm baamh gen za’gengh maaih sic camv haic, yaac aqc duqv zorc maiv haih longx aqv. As he wandered this earth, he encountered many problems.

  5. 3. Yietc diuc hlo jiex nyei sic Yesu buangh nyei jauv se Yiutai Mienh nqemh ninh doix-dekc ninh nyei jauv. One of the biggest problems that He was faced with was that of His rejection by the Jews. 4. Maiv gunv ninh zoux mbuoqc horngh nyei sic ndongc haaix camv yaac, ninh mbuo maiv gan Ninh maiv sienx Ninh. It seemed that no matter how many miracles that He did, they would still not follow Him.

  6. 5. Mangc daaih maiv gunv Ninh longc waac-beiv njaaux ninh mbuo ndongc haaix camv, ninh mbuo yaac maiv sienx Ninh. It seemed that no matter how many parables that He taught, some would still not believe. 6. Mv baac Ninh mbuox mbuo yiem Yo^han 12:32 wuov, maaih yietc nyungc jauv zoux bun yietc zungv mienh daaih lorz. But He tells us in John 12:32 that there would be one event that would draw all men unto Him.

  7. I. Bouh Giduc faaux nyei jauv se dongh Giduc daic bun Saadaan zuqc mietc nyei jauv (Yo^han 12:31). The lifting up of Christ was the death-blow to Satan (John. 12:31).

  8. 1. Tin Deic Douh 3:15, mbuox mbuo Saa^daan nyei m’nqorngv zuqc Yesu mborqv huv. Hnangv naaic, Yesu daic nyei jauv se weic mietc nzengc Saa^daan nyei qaqv. Genesis 3:15 tells us that Satan would bruise Christ's heel but that Christ would bruise Satan's head. A death blow was dealt to Satan. 2. Yiem zinh ndaangc daaih taux Giduc daic nyei ziangh hoc, Saa^daan duqv nzengc lingc, duqv nzengc qaqv zoux hoic mbuo baamh mienh. “Tin-Hungh njoux mbuo leih ndutv hmuangx nyei qaqv, suiv bieqc ninh Dorn-hnamv nyei guoqv.” (Ko^lo^si 1:13). Until the death of Christ, Satan held power over us. "Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:" (Colossians 1:13).

  9. 3. Zinh ndaangc hingv yiem Loz-Ngaengc Waac nyei ziangh hoc yaac mv maaih guangc zuiz nyei jauv (Hipv^lu 10:1-4). There was no forgiveness under the Old Testament Law (Hebrews 10:1-4). 4. Kungx maaih yietc diuc jauv bun mbuo haih duqv guangc nqoi mbuo nyei zuiz se Tin-Hungh nyei Dorn dongh maiv maaih dorngx daanh wuov dauh ciev ziec weic mbuo (1 Bide 1:18-19). The only way for us to have forgiveness of sins was by the sacrifice of the blameless Son of God (1 Peter 1:18-19).

  10. II. Kungx Giduc ganh nduqc dauh hnangv weic mbuo nyei zuiz duqv bouh faaux. Christ was the only one who was lifted up for our sins. 1. Mbuo guenx maaih benx nyei fiem-fingx kungx ceng mienh ceng ganh hnangv, maiv ceng Giduc (1 Ko^lin^to 1:10-13). We often have a bad habit of exalting certain men other than Christ (1 Corinthians 1:10-13).

  11. 2. Yiem Jiu baang, maaih deix ziangh hoc mbuo kungx haiz zunh doz mienh ceng mienh hnangv, maiv haiz ceng Giduc. In the church, we heard preachers are often exalted men not Jesus. 3. Yiem dongh hnyouv gorn nyei guanh, mbuo yaac kungx haiz mienh laanh ceng laanh hnangv, maiv haiz ceng Yesu. In denominations, we also heard people exalted one another, not exalted Jesus.

  12. 4. Benx Giduc Mienh, mbuo maiv horpc zuqc dorh mienh daaih gan mbuo, mv baac mbuo horpc zuqc njaaux mienh mingh gan Tin-Hungh (1 Ko^lin^to 2:1-5). As Christians, we should not draw attention or followers to ourselves but simply point them to God (1 Corinthians 2:1-5).

  13. III. Horpc zuqc bouh Giduc faaux bun yietc zungv mienh daaih lorz Tin-Hungh. It should be the lifting up of Christ that draws all men unto God.

  14. A. Maaih mienh camv nyei ndortv hnyouv taux bungx laangc yiem zunh kuv fienx nyei jauv. Many have lost confidence in the preaching power of the gospel. 1. Weic zuqc ninh mbuo haiz nzauh heix haih mun mienh fai zoux bun mienh qiex jiez. Because they felt that it might offend people or upset people.

  15. 2. Weic zuqc nzauh hei taux doix-dekc zuqc mienh zoux nyei jauv, mienh haih biaux. Because they worry that against the will of people and they will moving away. 3. Weic hnangv naaiv, cingx daaih ih zanc mbuo nyei lungh ndiev gunv zoux gunv waaic jienv njiec, zuiz camv jienv faaux. Jiu baang mienh zunc jienv naaiv norm baamh gen nyei waaic sic jauv mingh, zunh doz mienh gamh nziex maiv doix-dekc gorngv taux zuiz nyei jauv. Because of this, our society getting worse and worse, crime up and up. Church people conform to the pattern of this world, and preachers afraid to speak out against it.

  16. B. Tin-Hungh oix buoqc zangc ninh nyei mienh buoqc zangc Ninh yiem lingh wuonh caux yiem zien leiz (Yo^han 4:23-24). God desires true worshipers who will worship him in spirit and in truth (John 4:23-24).  C. Zien buoqc zangc Tin-Hungh nyei mienh se daaih buoqc zangc Tin-Hungh, weic zuqc ninh mbuo hnamv Tin-Hungh, se maiv zeiz daaih weic naauc ngitv nyei jauv. True worshipers come to worship because they love God, not because they want to have fun.

  17. IV. Mbuo hnangv haaix nor haih bouh Giduc faaux? How can we lift up Christ? 1. Mbuo haih bouh ninh faaux yiem mbuo mingh zunh ninh nyei kuv fienx mbuox lungh ndiev mienh. We can lift him up by telling the world about Him ( Matthew 28:19-20; 2 Timothy 4:1-4).

  18. 2. Mbuo haih bouh ninh faaux yiem mbuo maiv nyaiv nyiemc zoux mbuo nyei Ziouv. We can lift Him up by not being ashamed of Him (Mark 8:38). 3. Mbuo haih bouh ninh faaux yiem mbuo ei jienv ninh nyei lingc zoux nyei jauv. We can lift Him up by keeping His commandments (Luke 6:46).

  19. Nzutv Norz Waac Conclusion  1. Jiu Baang horpc zuqc maaih nyei lingc fai qaqv se dongh haaix nyungc? What is the drawing power of the church? 2. Weic haaix diuc ih hnoi meih yiem naaiv? Why are you here today? 3. Hnamv jienv gorngv weic zuqc meih daaih naaiv se weic oix tongx nimc dongh daic weic meih wuov dauh mienh. Hopefully it is because there is one who died for your sins and you want to honor Him.

  20. 1 Bide 3:15: Yiem meih mbuo nyei hnyouv meih mbuo oix zuqc taaih Giduc, bun ninh zoux Ziouv. Oix zuqc zanc-zanc liuc leiz ziangx hnyouv, haih porv mengh bun dauh dauh oix hiuv nyei mienh meih mbuo weic haaix diuc hnangv naaiv maaih lamh hnamv. Meih mbuo ziouc maaih waac dau, mv baac oix zuqc longc suonc hnyouv dorh leiz nyei dau ninh mbuo. 1 Peter 3:15: But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.
