What is Automotive Engineering? • Automotive engineers are involved in: • Designing new types of aerodynamic Formula-1 racecars • Developing engines that improve fuel efficiency and reduce green house gas emissions • Planning how to dismantle, flatten, and shred older vehicles to recycle the metals for new cars

  3. Pay Salary & Education • Average pay is from 37,000 to 112,000 per year • Bonus from 100 to 10,000 • A bachelor's degree in engineering is required for almost all entry-level engineering jobs. • I would study Automotive Engineering at the University of Michigan • 4 year degree
