Best practices

Best Practices

  • Decide what you want to accomplish

  • Clearly articulate objectives in group pages

  • Keep it simple and fun

  • Cultural Awareness:

    • Can I share your information/story?

    • Is the ministry site safe to post?

    • Does my information translate cross-culturally?

  • Know your audience- who are your stakeholders?

  • Remember social media is not for social media sake. It is a tool to be used for the greater purpose. Don’t be consumed with the technology. “Don’t major on the minors.”

  • Start with creating a facebook group page.
