  • Higher Education Commission acquired a country level account

  • Each University got 1000 accounts

  • Followed by a Plagiarism Policy- to chalk out rules and regulations

  • Total Session: 3

  • Each Session followed a Home work of a write-up- that needed to cite 2 websites, a book, a newspaper, and a journal article, on a self-chosen topic, to be produced before the next session

  • There was a Gap of a week in each session



  • Amended Education Policy, that gives proper focus to Plagiarism Consciousness/Sensitivity

  • Implementation at Lower Levels

  • Instructor Training and uplifting technologically

  • Open Talks/Seminars on Plagiarism related issues and about Turnitin mechanism for Students and Instructors



  • Students should be accessed where they spend most of their time, internet

  • Provision of training Screencasts, video tutorials in Urdu, as well as regional languages.

  • Presence on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Famous Blogs

  • Guide Students about Authorship and Originality



  • In Evaluation of Assignments, citation and referencing should be made as a credit component.

  • Students should be encouraged to engage directly with Turnitin accounts, so to remove the misconception of imagining Turnitin with Awe and Fear.
