  1. LPS Outputs • With 14 of the original area schemes – the precursors to the Landscape Partnerships completed, combined with the outputs of the first 16 Landscape Partnerships that are now underway, it is estimated that the following significant outputs will have been achieved: • nearly 80kms2 of priority habitat will have achieved condition or been restored and over 10kms2 of habitat will have been expanded; • 894 built heritage or archaeological features will have been worked on; • 1,942 ha of new or improved open access land and 3,208 km of linear access will have been created or improved;1,278 projects improving intellectual access will have been undertaken including 60 new or improved visitor information facilities; • 186,067 people will have benefited from participation and learning activities/events; • 11,840 volunteers will have been involved; • 230 FTE jobs will have been created and 192 FTE jobs safeguarded. • 21,455 people will have benefited from skills training • These figures must be regarded as best estimates rather than in any way definitive. (They are likely to represent an under-reporting of AS and LP output achievements given the gaps in the data and limitations of extracting data from scheme documents).
